THE ENOCH GENERATION

Jude 1:14-15 KJV
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Enoch was born in the seventh generation from the creation of Adam.
This third day from the birth of Christ is also the seventh day from Adam’s creation, so in this seventh day, there is arising in the earth what we can call an Enoch generation.

This Enoch generation will be made up of saints who, like Enoch, choose to walk with God after many years of not doing so.

Genesis 5:21-23 ESV
When Enoch had lived 65 years, he fathered Methuselah. Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years.

Enoch was 65 years old before deciding to walk with God. It is instructive to note here that just being born-again does not mean you are walking with God.

To walk with God means to consistently walk in the Spirit (Gal. 5:16) by the Blood (Heb. 13:20-21), the Word (1Jn. 2:5) and the Spirit (1Jn. 4:12-13),
to perfect the love of God (1Jn. 4:15-18). Many Christians are not walking with God, even though, they are born-again.

65 here is symbolic: 30 + (35=7×5) representing maturity and completeness of grace: the number 30 represents maturity (Lk. 3:23); 7 represents completion (Gen. 2:2) and 5 represents grace (favour of God that gives you sufficient (2Cor. 12:9) life (Ps. 30:5), that will cause you to prevail (1Sam. 17:40) like David did over Goliath.

So, 65 represents an age in which we have attained physical maturity and have had the completeness of God’s favour shown to us.

Ordinarily, at this time the door of God’s favour on one’s life should have been shut; however, God in His mercy in this seventh day, is granting, as it were, a spiritual amnesty because He needs as many people as possible to do the work of the discipleship of the nations (Matt. 24:14 and 28:19-20) and so hasten (2 Pet. 3:12) the closing of this age.

So God is giving another chance to anyone who chooses, decides or is willing to walk with God to manifest His power that is to be made manifest in this third or seventh day, fulfilling Psalms 110:3.

In other words, the power of God in manifestation will cause them to become willing to walk with God, to get a spiritual education to manifest the glory of God.

This willingness or determination will be shown by their importunity to continue knocking on the door of grace that has already been shut (because of their mature age and the completeness of the grace of God shown to them: Luke 11:5-8).

This importunity will result in them being given a borrowed anointing to have revelation of three loaves of the bread (Jn. 6:35) of the Word of God: love, righteousness and justice (Jer. 9:24 and Matt. 23:23).

As they operate this borrowed anointing under covering, they will become a part of God’s end-time army and, like Enoch, will be preserved from physical death until their translation at the time of the order of their resurrection.

Genesis 5:24 AMP
And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [ home with Him]. [Heb. 11:5.]

So, a clarion call is going out now from the throne of God for those who, like Enoch, have wasted their years and the grace of God shown to them by not walking with God, to be willing in this day of His power to walk with God, get a spiritual education and so enjoy a restoration of the years eaten by, as it were, the caterpillar and the canker worm.
