FULFILLING YOUR PROPHETIC DESTINY

Revelation 22:19 NKJV
…and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things, which are written in this book.

Here, the Scripture reveals that every person has a part in the book of life, the holy city and things written in the Word of God (not just the book of Revelation).

Colossian 3:3 NKJV:
Your life is hidden with Christ in God.

This also applies to all mankind, since all men have a destiny in Christ, otherwise God would be a respecter of persons, which He is not (Act. 10.34). It is God’s will for all men to be saved (2Pet. 3.9), so all men have a part in the Book of Life, and there are things written about them in the book, or scroll, according to Rev. 22.19.

Jer. 1:4-5 NKJV
The word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

There are three major areas revealed in Scripture in which all men are to fulfil their prophetic destiny:

1. Being conformed to the image of Christ in this life time (Rom. 8:29; 1Jn. 4:17).

2. Long physical life (Ps. 91:16; Pr. 3:1-2).

3.Financial and Social success (Deut. 28:11-13).
The question then is; “Why do people not fulfill their prophetic destiny?”

Since it has been predestined and foreordained by God, why does it not automatically come to pass?

The basic reason is that man has been given a free will to either choose or reject the destiny God has prepared for him (Deut. 30:18-19).

Our choices, utterances and actions will determine how well we fulfill our prophetic destiny, and whether we receive a full or incomplete reward (1Cor. 3:10-15). To receive our full reward, we need to;

Choose life (Deut. 30:19).you
– Speak the right words (Matt.12:36-37).
– Walk diligently, as a daily habit, in the love of God by using the blood, the written Word and the power of the Holy Spirit in prayer.
– Improve the completeness and quality of our spiritual labour in God.
