SOLOMON, JOSEPH AND DANIEL
1Kings 4:29-34 KJV
And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore. And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about… And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.
Luke 11:31 KJV
…behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
As we eagerly await the manifestation of the glory of God in and through our physical bodies by the life of God in our mortal bodies, God wants us to understand that this manifestation will give us THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON.
This wisdom of Solomon gives us the ability of the mind of Christ: incredible photographic memory, mathematical skills, musical, artistic and language learning abilities!
It is instructive to observe that this incredible mental ability of Solomon did not help him morally, as Solomon loved strange women who turned his heart to polygamy and idolatry (1Kgs. 11:1-4). So God must add to the wisdom of God He gives to us, the PURITY OF JOSEPH.
Joseph and Isaac lived sexually pure lives and were both faithful to one woman, even though they lived in the Old Testament.
Joseph had no bible but used the Word of God in his mouth and heart (Dt. 30:14) to overcome the lusts of the flesh, the eyes and the pride of life (1Jn. 2:16) to live a life of moral and sexual purity!
Finally, God is going to give to us the CONSECRATION OF DANIEL . Daniel stayed consecrated to God in spite of the corruption and distractions of Babylon (Dan. 6:10)!
Daniel 1:8 KJV
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
So now, we are to practice and develop these things by the blood (1Jn. 1:9), the Word (1Jn 2:5) and the Spirit (Rom. 8:10-13; 26-29; 1Jn. 4:12-13)!
Colossians 1:27 KJV
“…this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
