Daily Rhema: THE END-TIME ELIJAH MINISTRY

Malachi 4:5-6 NIV
“See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.”

There is an end-time Elijah ministry similar to John the Baptist’s ministry (Luke 1:16-17), that is preparing the hearts of God’s people before the second coming of the Lord in us in perfection and glory; for us at the rapture, and with us for the millennial reign of Christ.

Like John, this prophetic ministry is currently operating only the spirit of Elijah:
– Preaching the truth of repentance for the kingdom of God is at hand (Matt. 3:1-2),
– Doing an internal work in the lives of the saints and no great, outward physical miracles (Jn. 10:41).
– Turning the hearts of God’s people into divine love and mutual submission (i.e. the hearts of the Fathers to the children and the children to the Fathers) that will cause them to grow up into Christ in all things (Eph. 4:15).

We should submit to and obey this Elijah ministry, in order to experience the double-portion Elisha anointing of the Spirit and the power of Elijah, and begin to do great outward miracles like Elisha and the Lord Jesus (Jn. 14:12).

Those who don’t, will experience severe judgment of having their works of wood, hay and stubble burnt up by the fire of judgment, suffer the loss of the double portion anointing (1Cor.3:12-15), and in some cases may go to hell if they don’t repent (1Cor. 5:5)!

What does this mean to us now?
We should not be satisfied with only being born-again and filled with the Holy Ghost, but rather repent to have a revelation of and experience the fullness of the Kingdom: the total dominion of God in our spirits, souls and bodies (1Thess. 5:23-24), then press on into attaining perfection and the fullness of Christ.
