THE POWER OF PROTECTION

Psalms 91:14-15 ESV “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honour him.

God’s power is ministered to us in three areas: godliness, protection and power to get wealth.

The power of protection includes God’s power to heal and deliver.

Acts 10:38 ESV how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

The purpose of divine protection is to enable us to live long and in good physical health, so we can fulfill our destiny in its fullness.

It takes many years to grow spiritually to be able to fulfill your destiny. You need to be in good physical health to labour, both spiritually and physically to perfect and complete the will of God for your life (Psa. 91:16).

To enjoy divine protection, it is vital that you begin to walk in and gradually perfect the love of God in your conduct, by the blood (Heb. 13:20-21), the Word (1Jn. 2:5-6) and the Spirit (1Jn. 4:12-13).

In fact, the condition for enjoying divine protection is abiding, or living in the love of God (Psa. 91:9-11, 14-15).

How divine protection works:
1. Generate the power for divine protection by praying with travail and tongues with all types of prayer in the Spirit (Eph. 6:18) for divine protection, at least once in a week (Gen. 1:3-2:2).

2. Release the power by speaking God’s word on protection and praying in tongues concerning our confessions, at least once weekly.

3. Receive the power of God by watching for mercy (Mat. 24:42; Jude 1:21), and frequent communion by praying in the Spirit (1Cor. 14:2; 18; 28).

As we practice these things God will move men and manipulate circumstances via the ministry of angels to protect us. For example; Daniel (Dan. 6:20-23); Paul (Act. 23:12-24); Joseph (Gen. 37:18-28).
Divine protection is not always spectacular, but it is real

So let us learn to please the Lord by using our faith to walk in, and ultimately perfect the love of God in our lives, so He will make even our enemies to be at peace with us!

Proverbs 16:7 ESV When a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
