MARCH 21
THE WISDOM OF THE JUST
Luke 1:17 KJV
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
Wisdom is crying through the prophetic, end-time Elijah ministry in the earth today, that precedes the coming of the Lord in the manifestation of the spirit without measure. This is not just one person, as it was in the days of John the Baptist, but a company of people (Lk. 1:17).
The purpose of the cry, or preaching and teaching of the end-time Elijah ministry, is to turn the hearts (or, the wills and desires) of the spiritual fathers in the Church to their children: to care for them spiritually by the ministry of the Word and prayer with travail (Gal. 4:19), to cause the Christ character to be formed in them.
This will in turn, cause the hearts of the children to be turned to their fathers and the wisdom of the just. The Christians that obtain this wisdom of the just, will be prepared for the coming of the Lord to His Church in the perfection and fulness of Christ (2Tim. 2:21).
The wisdom of the just is the wisdom it takes to have access to the power of God to do righteousness, and to perfect the character of the Lord Jesus. Such wisdom can only be found in the seven principles of the wisdom of God that the Lord Jesus also operated when He was here on earth (Prov. 9:1).
Solomon, by the Holy Spirit, speaks prophetically and symbolically in Proverbs 9, of the seven pillars that the Lord Jesus, personifying the wisdom of God, would use to build the Church, the house of God (1Cor. 1:24)!
These seven pillars are:
1. The fear of the Lord (honesty and humility of heart: Pr. 9:10).
2. Praying in the Spirit at two levels: (i) Battle prayer with all kinds of prayer to wrestle and overcome evil spirits (Eph. 6:12,18); (ii) Communion prayer: speaking in tongues just to commune with God (1Cor. 14:2).
3. Binding the devil (Matt. 12:29, 11:12).
4. Confessing the Word: speaking God’s Word with your mouth in faith (Mk.11:22-23).
5. Meditating the Word: saying God’s Word in your heart (Dt. 30:14).
6. Doing the Word: physical practice of God’s Word (Jam. 1:22).
7. Fasting and living a fasted life (Isa. 58: 3-14).
These seven pillars form a cycle because pillar seven makes you more humble, which is a part of the fear of the Lord in pillar one (Ps. 35:13).
We must practice these seven pillars diligently as a daily habit, and diligently watch and pray at least once every six hours, at every opportunity and in every temptation, using:-
The blood (confessing our sins).
The Word (drawing on the life of God through the Word.
The power of the Holy Spirit (praying in tongues).
As we practice these principles, we will be using the wisdom of the just to have access to the power of God in sufficient measure to do righteousness!
