UNITED PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT – THE RIVER OF LIFE IS FLOWING

John 7:38-39 NKJV
“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

When a company of saints are praying in the Spirit in unity (by walking in love and forgiveness, by washing of feet), they will be releasing an astronomically large magnitude of power through the prayers of spiritual kings God will place over them (Eph. 3:20), compared to the power they are releasing individually.

The power of the Spirit without measure that will be released to effect these things is typified by ‘water’ flowing from the altar inside the temple (Ezek. 47:1-5), and is symbolic of the life of God (Jn. 4:14) flowing to the Church from the Lord Jesus Christ, through God the Holy Spirit (Jn. 6:63).

However, the power of God, symbolized by different levels of the water (Ezek. 47), corresponds to different levels of spiritual growth of saints in the Church:

– Ankle deep: Babies (1Pet. 2:2)
– Knee deep: Little children or servants (1Jn. 2:13).
– Waist deep: Young men or princes (1Jn. 2:13,14).
– Total submersion: Fathers or Kings (1Jn. 2:13).

Observe that as the level of the river increases, it has greater power to direct us until it totally submerges us at the level of Fathers or Kings channeling us totally and completely in the will of God (Prov. 21:1).

As Christians get baptized in the Holy Spirit and begin to pray in tongues and groanings (Rom.8:26; Gal.4:19), this water of life is converted to power. The Holy Spirit sovereingly joins prayers of saints together in the spirit to release ‘power without measure’. The only requirements are an attitude of humility, forgiveness and mercy in the heart, coupled with united praying in the Spirit.

As the power of God coming from the perfect Zion Church increases, the Church will gradually rise in the heavens until it is exalted above all hills (symbolic of Satanic powers – Isaiah 2:2-3) and then bring healing to the nations symbolized by trees (Ps. 1: 1-3), fishes (Mt. 4:19) and waters (Rev. 17:15).
