WATCHING AND PRAYING ALWAYS

Colossians 4:2 KJV
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

To watch is to constantly maintain the consciousness of God’s Presence by ‘seeing’ through faith, Him that is invisible (Psa. 16:8), and acknowledging Him with thanksgiving in your thoughts frequently throughout the day.

Proverbs 3:6 KJV
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

To pray, is to talk with your thoughts, words and in tongues. Talking to God with your thoughts is like ‘walking’ in the Spirit.

Talking to God with your words is like ‘running’ in the Spirit.

Talking to God in tongues is like ‘flying’ in the Spirit: you cover greater distances than you do when walking or running and, of course, it takes much more of the power or life of God than ‘walking’ or ‘running’ (Isa. 40:31).

Why then do you need to watch and pray always?
So as to be accounted worthy to be a partaker of the glory of God in these last days! It is this glory of God that will enable you to overcome the afflictions and abounding iniquity of the end-times.

Luke 21:36 KJV
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

‘Always’ means praying without ceasing:

1Thessalonians 5:17-18 KJV
Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

How can this be done practically?
By praying with your thoughts frequently, acknowledging God with thanksgiving. Then praying with words and in tongues, to “wash the feet” of yourself and others, using the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (Deut. 6:6-7).

Therefore, at least once every six hours (2Sam. 6:13) you make spiritual sacrifices (1Pet. 2.5) of:
Sin offering : Say, ‘Father I confess our sins’ (1 Jn. 1:7-2:1).
Peace offering : Say, ‘In Jesus Name we have life’ (Rom. 5:1).
Meal offering : Thanksgiving in tongues (1Cor. 14:16-17).
Burnt offering : Praying in tongues to edify yourself and others in love by ‘burning up‘ (Rom. 12:1) the sin nature in your flesh and in the air.

By doing this diligently, you will ultimately become a carrier of the Ark: the glory of God! (Mk. 13:35).
